We are recruiting a Support Worker for the PPN. This is a full time, permanent, pensionable post with Monaghan County Council. So if you’ve ever fancied being a Civil Servant, here’s your chance!!

Public Participation Network Support Officer (Permanent)

Salary: €40,213 – €48,495

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, etc

Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms –

(a) possess a satisfactory knowledge or experience of office organisation

(b) have satisfactory experience in community development

(c) Be the holder of full driving licence and be a competent driver.

A third level qualification of at least degree standard, in community development is desirable but not essential

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

· highly self-motivated

· an excellent communicator

· able to work with and bring together the varied interests of the community and voluntary sector, elected representatives and Council officials.

Short listing will take place on the basis of the information provided on the application form and it is expected that given the qualifications and experience of prospective applicants that the short listing requirements will be significantly higher than the minimum standard set out.
