The 2017 Sports Capital Programme will be open for applications from 9am on Monday 23 January 2017.
Applications can ONLY be made online, via OSCAR, the Dept’s online application system: https://www.sportscapitalprogramme.ie/
To be able to make an application, your group must first REGISTER. The deadline for registration is 5pm on Friday 10th February 2017. If your organisation is not registered on OSCAR by 5pm on10 February 2017, you will not be able to make an application.
There is a LOT of paperwork to this: tax clearance certs, Revenue numbers etc. So go have a look at what’s involved NOW and get cracking.
You then have until 5pm on Friday 24 February 2017 to submit your funding application .The online system will be shut down at this time and no late or partial applications will be accepted.
To make your funding application, remember only applications which are accompanied by ALL THE BACKUP EVIDENCE, eg planning permission, evidence that you own the site, have the balance of the money arranged (letter from bank) etc, will be considered. Again, it takes a bit of work and time to get these assembled, so GET STARTED NOW!
Carol Lambe and Bernie Bradley, Community Development Officers in Monaghan County Council, are available to cast an eye over your draft application before you submit it if you would like a little help. Bernie is particularly strong on disability/ social inclusion; if your project is providing services to people who fall into either of these categories, it would be well worth your while to speak to her.
Phone 047 30500 to arrange to meet either Officer.
