The LEADER Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2014-2020 for County Monaghan has announced details of a time-limited call for community projects that support the provision and upgrading of community recreational facilities and infrastructure, to facilitate better access and use of facilities in their community. Typical types of projects envisaged include; walking and running tracks, playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and multi-purpose playing pitches. All projects need to be open and accessible for general community use.
A budget of €450,000 has been allocated for this call and it is expected that approximately 6 projects could be funded.
Interested groups are invited to submit an Expression of Interest Form which outlines
This is a time limited call and in order to be considered for full application a fully completed Expression of Interest Form must be submitted to Monaghan LEADER, Monaghan Integrated Development, Monaghan Rd, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan or scanned and emailed to LEADER@midl.ie by the 17th February 2017.

Monaghan Local Action Group (LAG) is administering the LEADER RDP 2014-2020 in County Monaghan for the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The County Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is operating as the LAG for the County. Monaghan Integrated Development the Local Development Company for County Monaghan is the implementing partner and Monaghan County Council is the lead financial partner.
