Ulster Scots Heritage Centre Consultation

The Ulster-Scots Agency wishes to investigate options to increase the understanding, preservation and celebration of Ulster-Scots heritage, language and culture within Ireland.
In particular the Agency wishes to consider whether there is a need for, or merit in, the development of a cultural and heritage centre for Ireland, which can act as a focus for the celebration and interpretation of Ulster-Scots culture, language, music, dance, history, genealogy and diaspora.
The concept of a centre could be a self-contained facility, or could form part of a project which also celebrates other aspects of Protestant culture and heritage.

The Agency therefore wishes to gain an understanding of the degree of interest in:
1. Preserving, promoting, celebrating and experiencing Ulster-Scots diverse heritage and culture.
2. Accessing and engaging with an Ulster-Scots cultural, heritage and resource centre.
Your feedback to the following questions would be much appreciated in helping the Agency to gain an understanding of the needs and opportunities for the Ulster-Scots Community.

This survey will be available until Tuesday 12th December.
Should you have any queries, or wish to engage further with the study, please do not hesitate to contact Lorraine McCourt Consulting at lorraine@lorrainemccourt.com.
