Nominations Now Open for PPN Representation on Joint Policing Committee

Monaghan County Council has formally asked the PPN , to seek from its membership to fill 1 nominee from each of the following areas (5 positions):
Tidy Towns Network -nominations to come from a Tidy Town group (Countywide)
Community Alert – nominations to come from Community Alert/Text alert groups (Countywide)
Older Persons Forum – nominations to come from Older Persons Network
Social Inclusion – nominations to come from groups whose primary work centres on working to improve the life chances and opportunities of those who are marginalised in society. (Social Inclusion Pillar)
Community Development – nominations to come from community and voluntary groups (all community and voluntary groups)
The Joint Policing Committee’s function is to serve as a forum for consultations, discussions and recommendations on matters affecting the policing of the local authority.
