Monaghan County Council Culture Night 2018 – Open Call
Culture Night is an annual event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. This year it will take place on Friday 21st September 2018 from 5pm.
It is an opportunity to throw open the doors and show the public what goes on in your organisation. This can mean literally opening up a building which might not be accessible to the general public, or it may involve putting on a concert, or erecting an exhibition to showcase the work of your members.
It can be a great way to promote awareness of your organisation, your work, your cause. It can also be a fantastic way to make new friends and even gain new members.
So, what are you going to do to mark Culture Night? And would you like a little help with that?
Monaghan County Council is now inviting groups and organisations in County Monaghan to hold an event and have it included in a County Programme of events for Culture Night.
Monaghan County Council, in partnership with the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, will have a small funding scheme for events and promotion. Some events may not require funding, others will.
Guidelines on criteria and application forms are available by contacting email@example.com or by downloading from http://www.monaghan.ie/arts
Closing Date for receipt of applications is Thursday 31st May 2018 at 1pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
Queries can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
